The Conservative Police Commissioner wants to take over Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
He has proposed closing *both* Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City Fire Stations.
Meanwhile, the Conservative Government is directing Councils to make sweeping cuts to the Fire & Rescue Service across the board.
