Andrew is standing to be your Labour County Councillor for Welwyn on May 1st.

Andrew Osborne is committed to listening to local residents and improving the communities in which they live.  He commented, “I believe a Labour run County Council can truly improve the lives of Hertfordshire residents.  As your County Councillor, I want to be part of that.”

In standing for the County Council, Andrew is building on many years’ experience of service to the community.  He and his family have lived in Hertfordshire for 15 years and he works locally in the agriculture sector. He has served as a parish councillor and chaired its environment committee. He worked on key strategies and plans. He is a community campaigner and as a volunteer has fundraised for local causes and supported many community events.  He is particularly committed to the proper maintenance of local footpaths.

Andrew says, “I can represent residents effectively if elected to the county council.  I will listen to them, understand their needs, and actively pursue their cases. I am committed to making a positive impact on the local area.”
