Beth Kelly
Your candidate for Hatfield North

Beth Kelly will be your Labour candidate for Hatfield North in the County Council elections on the 1st May.
Beth has lived in Hatfield for over 20 years and has always enjoyed its mixed and vibrant community. She is a teacher, teacher trainer and researcher into adults learning mathematics in further and higher education.
She also has experience as a Borough Councillor working on policy and environmental issues and as a non-executive director on a local hospital board, as well as establishing and chairing one of Hertfordshire’s Primary Care Trusts. She wants to work with local people to make a positive change, improving services and the environment in Hatfield North.
Beth says: “Over the years, I’ve seen the result of Conservative County Council’s lack of interest in Hatfield. Neglected pavements, increases in fly-tipping and increase in anti-social behaviour. It was also shocking to see their leader u-turn and support a quarry at Ellenbrook Fields. Hatfield deserves a better County Council.”
Using her experience in education, health and local government Beth wants to work with local people.
