Darren Lewis
Your candidate for Handside & Peartree

Darren Lewis is standing for Labour to be your County Councillor for Handside and Peartree division.
Growing up in council housing in Islington, with a single parent, Darren left school at 16 with few qualifications. Later, he was able to receive state funding to go to university and build a successful career in market research. Darren believes everyone should have access to the same opportunities that he enjoyed and the chance to make the best of themselves.
In his spare time Darren is a qualified rugby union coach and volunteers at a local club. He was previously a trustee of a local charity, working with young homeless people to provide them with accommodation and to help them succeed in education and training for employment.
Darren is committed to listening to local people and prides himself on being able to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. If elected as your councillor, he will commit to meeting with residents throughout the year and responding to the issues and concerns you raise.
