Labour MP Andrew Lewin and Labour Councillor for Hatfield North Beth Kelly are calling for members of the Welwyn Hatfield community to fill in a SEND survey ahead of the Hertfordshire County Council SEND Summit.
Everyone with an interest in SEND services is encouraged to take part. The survey is confidential, easy to complete, and available online here.
By sharing your views, you can help shape better outcomes for children and young people with SEND in Hertfordshire.

“As MP for the Welwyn Hatfield community, I want to encourage parents, carers, and families to take part in the Hertfordshire County Council’s SEND survey.
Hatfield North Councillor Beth Kelly has been a strong advocate for improving support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and I’m proud to support this important survey with her.
I regularly hear from teachers and parents across Welwyn Hatfield about the challenges SEND educators, families and children face, and this survey is a vital opportunity for your voices to be heard ahead of HCC’s upcoming SEND Summit.
The feedback collected through this survey will help shape the discussions at the summit and influence the future of SEND services across Hertfordshire.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share your experiences. Your input is crucial in making sure that SEND services meet the needs of all families in our community.”
Thank you for helping build a better SEND strategy for Hertfordshire.
