4 Labour Candidates - May 2025
4 Labour Candidates - May 2025
On May 1st you can vote in the Herts County Council elections.

Below are some key reasons to vote for your local Labour candidate…

  1. Our Labour candidates care about the environment. The County Council aims to be carbon neutral by 2030 through services, vehicles and reducing throw away and landfill. Our Labour candidates will keep HCC on track to meet this goal.
  2. If elected, your Labour councillors want to establish a SEND task force to mend the ‘wide spread and systematic failure’ of the services (Ofsted 23), by working collaboratively with families and organisations to ensure children and families are at the centre of services.
  3. The County Council looks after Hertfordshire libraries, which offer important services to children and adults to free access to reading, art, culture, technology, information. They provide a place for local groups to meet, learn and share ideas. Your Labour candidates care about maintaining our library services.
  4. The County Councillors manage planning for large infrastructure projects. Our Labour candidates believe that planning should enable sustainable growth and should promote a strong economy that meets the needs of local people.

On May 1st, vote for your local Labour candidate to improve our services across Hertfordshire.
