Welwyn Hatfield’s Labour MP, Andrew Lewin has been elected to the Housing Communities and Local Government Committee in the Houses of Parliament.
Andrew said:
“It is a great responsibility to be joining such an influential select committee.
Last week my new colleagues published a powerful report on the crisis in temporary accommodation and there are vital enquiries underway on building safety and the sustainability of local government funding.
Having previously worked in social housing, I will bring personal and professional experience that I hope will complement that of my colleagues. I look forward to playing an active role and joining my first session after Easter.”
